Two Hundred Million Kilograms of Bad Fats Eliminated from North American Diet

Dow AgroSciences announced that in the last three years, its Omega-9 Canola and Sunflower Oils, made from NEXERA™ seeds, have replaced more than 150 million kilograms of trans fat and 60 million kilograms of saturated fat in North American food service. The company plans to increase its production of Omega-9 Oils to 1.13 billion kilograms by 2012.
