Omega-3 Fatty Acids Not Linked to Prostate Cancer

A May supplement of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition includes a study by U.C. San Francisco and the San Francisco VA Hospital that disproves an epidemiological association between omega-3s and increased risk of prostate cancer. Scientists found no links between the two. Separate clinical studies show that omega-3s, including the those found in canola oil, may help protect the heart.
