Heart and Stroke Foundation Strives to Combat Childhood Obesity

The 2009 Heart and Stroke Report on the Health of Ontario's Kids found that children are at risk of health problems due to lack of physical activity and poor nutrition. With 28 percent of children in Ontario overweight or obese, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada is taking measures to combat the problem, including building partnerships with other organizations that promote health like the Canola Council of Canada.
