Canola Council of Canada Welcomes New V.P. of Crop Production

Dr. Curtis Rempel has been appointed vice president of crop production at the Canola Council of Canada (CCC) and will begin work there on July 17. He comes to the CCC from the Richardson Centre Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, where he was research and development manager. He has also worked as an adjunct professor at the university. “I am looking forward to being a part of the Canola Council team and to working with grower groups, the scientific community and other stakeholders toward the industry’s 2015 goals and beyond,” he said in a CCC news release.
