Canola Oil Takes the Cake

While most cooking oils may superficially appear the same, there are several important differences. According to Anthony Valerio, two-time winner of the Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars,” the term vegetable oil is often applied to all cooking oils, but canola oil is “a bit healthier.” On the other hand, olive oil has a much “denser, richer” consistency.
