Canola Oil Helps Reduce Environmental Impact

Environmental concerns have put pressure on the food industry to reduce single-use plastics such as drinking straws. As reported by ABC, canola oil is being used by Danimer Scientific to create straws that are both soil and marine-biodegradable. They are expected to hit the market in late 2019.
