Balancing the Fats
A new report published in Open Heart points to the good fats in canola oil as beneficial to reducing obesity. The report stresses the importance of a balanced ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fats in the diet to tackle growing obesity rates and encourages increased consumption of rich sources of omega-3 fats, like canola oil. Report findings were also published in YAHOO! Sports, Newsmax Health and Medical Research. In honour of World Diabetes Day, Huffington Post Canada highlighted tips such as including canola oil, as part of a Mediterranean-style diet.
